During the 1800’s, Commodore Perry introduced lemonade to Japan which was so beloved that it became the iconic symbol for Japanese soda. The Japanese mispronunciation of the word lemonade became what is now known as Ramune. The flavors of Ramune started as lemon-based but over time evolved to become its own unique taste. Ramune candy takes the flavor and fizz of Japanese ramune soda and compacts it into delicious hard candies that have two flavors per candy.
